"PLAY IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF RESEARCH"

In Doon Public School this section starts from classes I- V. To make the Education interesting here more emphasis is put on Activity Based Learning. for every lesson a specific activity is selected so that the child should learn by doing. To enhance their theoretical knowledge special practice worksheets are provided to students.

To encourage the creativity in students different activities are organized for eg. Story Telling, Poem Recitation, Inter class competitions, speak on the stage, Spell-Bee, Handwriting Competition, dramatization, etc.

This is the stage when child learns about MORAL VALUES. To inculcate these values Special Assemblies are organized to have better knowledge about festivals. Considering the overall development of a child different activities daily morning prayer continue with latest News updates, pledge for walking on the right path and National Anthem are in practice regularly.

Here we have provided Digital Library for every class student. They study different books on computers. School has the collection of 90,000 books in this Library. Different Labs are provided for the students to make the learning interesting. Math’s Lab, English Language Lab, Computer Lab.

In sports they are facilitated with different games Cricket, Swimming, Volley Ball, Karate, Skating, Indoor games like Carom, Chess, Table Tennis. Special coaches are appointed to train each student.

To encourage in students the feeling of competitiveness every week a “Best Student Of The Week” is declared in assembly. The student gets a special badge, which he carries on his shirt for the whole weak. In the same manner “Best Student Of The Month” is declared in the assembly”.
